Hi Sharon Seegers,
Thanks for posting! "Kế hoạch" is a noun, means "a plan", while "lên kế hoạch" is a verb, means "to plan something" or "to make a plan". Let us know if you have any other questions!
Sincerely,

Good lesson. I think the vocabulary list should include bọn em, which seems to be very useful and lên kế hoạch since it is a usage of lên that I've not seen before and which my Viet-English dictionary doesn't explain. My wife said it's normal usage to mean completing or writing up a plan so I guess it's a good one to know. Maybe those expressions are in a vocabulary list for a previous lesson?

Even at half speed, this is too advanced for absolute beginners. The language needs to be graded appropriately - otherwise how do you expect the learner to pick up the phrases?
