HideHello listeners! Have you ever been to a post office in Vietnam? Was it difficult to get your letter sent?
Hi Mario,
Thank you for the post.
In this case, both "đến" and "đi" are correct and natural, used in daily speech.
Please ask if you have any further question.
Best,
Chi

Hello, just a simple question..
is it incorrect to say "Tôi muốn gửi cái này đến New York."? For what we studied till now it's sounds more natural than đi in this care (I mean, for me 😄)
Best Regards
Mario
Xin chào David,
Thank you for your question. We are sorry for the inconvenience. 😞 Please note that the vocabulary lists attached to the lessons don't necessarily contain each and every new word from the lesson. In such cases, you are advised to go to the Vietnamese Dictionary at https://www.vietnamesepod101.com/vietnamese-dictionary/ and look up the word there. You can add bưu kiện to your Flashcard deck without any problems from there.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Levente

Why isn't bưu kiện in the vocabulary list? I see it is in the Lesson notes but I wanted to add it to my Flashcard deck. grrrr
cảm ơn!
Hi yokepean,
Thank you for your question.
Both "bưu thiệp" and "bưu thiếp" have the same meaning and they can be used interchangeably. But the pronunciation is a little different because the tone marks are different. "Bưu" is the same in two words, "thiệp" has the heavy falling tone and "thiếp" has a high rising tone.
Please feel free to use the one that is easier for you to remember and pronounce.
Cheers,
Giang
