Nguyet: keo
John: literally meaning "candy." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "stingy."

Thank you for the question.

Actually, there are local slangs for each region and slangs that are common in Vietnam.


Regarding vocabulary list of this lesson, except for "xe của Bộ" (which is often used in Northern region), the rest are common in different regions.

Are these slang terms region specific? I noticed she has a northern accent so would these slang terms make sense in the south or central region? Thanks.
