John: Nguyet, what's our first expression?
Nguyet: viêm màng cánh
John: literally meaning "inflamed wings." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to have smelly armpits."

John: who is a famous male character's name in a popular Chinese movie. But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "conscious."

John: Use this slang expression when you talk about someone's marriage in which they seem to be happy from the outside, but inside, they are actually not. It’s an expression that describes a relationship of two people whose lives are intimately intertwined, but who do not fundamentally communicate with each other.
