So we got January, February and today is gonna be March
and since I'm shooting this video in March,
so I'm gonna have like more things to share with you maybe
and let's get started right away.
March is the best month of the year for me
because the weather is amazing.
Just like now, I feel like I'm in autumn.
So I really like this kind of weather between spring and summer
because it's not cold anymore and it's warmer.
The reason why we should travel in March
is the reason why we should travel in March.
March is the time of change.
The last month of the year is the last year of the year of the year of the year of the year.
Tháng ba là thời điểm chuyển giao cuối mùa xuân đầu mùa hè.
That means March is like the transaction between the end of spring and the beginning of summer.
Thời tiết miền Bắc vẫn còn xe lạnh.
Thời tiết miền Bắc vẫn còn xe lạnh.
That means the weather in the North is still a little bit cool
and Thời tiết miền Nam bắt đầu chuyển sang mùa khô.
That means the weather in the South starts to be dry season.
Tháng ba là thời điểm vừa qua Tết âm lịch chưa lâu.
That means March is the time when the Lunar New Year has not been too long.
So the festive environment or ambience is still around and people are still pretty relaxed.
Many travel services and airlines will have attractive incentives.
So those are many reasons why you should start to travel in March
and this is like one of the best times of the year to travel around Vietnam.
First, let's go to Quảng Ninh.
Quảng Ninh is like one of the top cities that we can travel in March
and this is the first one in the list, checked.
But what are there in Quảng Ninh at this time?
That means in this time, Quảng Ninh has a lot of festivals.
For example, Lễ Hội Hoa Anh Đào, Cherry Blossom Festival or Lễ Hội Mai Vàng ở Yên Tử.
That means Yellow Apricot Festival in Yên Tử.
Next one, let's go to Hải Phong.
That means Hải Phong is a city that has many forms of tourism.
So đặc sản here means the popular food in a specific city or a specific area.
So we got dừa dầm, bánh mì que and bánh đa cua.
They are very popular in Hải Phong.
Now let's go up to the north a little bit which is Sapa.
Lợt cấp nách thắng cố.
Lợt cấp nách means the very small pig that can be like carried in your armpit.
That kind of pig they don't grow them until they get very big but they just keep it like that size.
So the meat will be very nice and tasty.
And thắng cố is also one of the very common and popular foods in Sapa which is the horse hot pot.
Next one is also a northern city which is Điện Biên.
So one of the travel suggestions in March is to go to Điện Biên to see flowers blooming.
Right, hoa ban is a very typical and popular flower in Điện Biên.
And a lot of couples choose to go to Điện Biên to take pre-wedding photo shoots with hoa ban.
And if you've got a chance I think you must try one day.
Next one let's go to the center of Vietnam which is Huế.
Tháng 3 là thời điểm khép lại mùa mưa ở Huế.
That means March is the end of rainy season in Huế.
The weather is pretty cool and it's not sunny anymore so it's very good to travel to Huế
and spend like one or two days there because Huế is like a pretty small city.
What I think you'll find interesting when seeing all the old kingdoms of Huế, imperial city.
Some of the very popular dishes in Huế such as bún bò Huế, canh cá lóc, cơm âm phủ.
So I don't know what cơm âm phủ is but it sounds a bit strange to me.
Bún bò Huế, canh cá lóc or cơm âm phủ.
Next one let's go to the island which is Côn Đảo.
From March to September is the ideal time to travel to Côn Đảo.
Now let's go to the south which is Saigon, one of my cities.
I've just come back from Saigon for work actually and the weather in Saigon now is super super nice.
It's a little bit warm at noon or during daytime but usually it's pretty windy
and it feels very like airy.
Also, food in Saigon is still the same because it is summer the whole year so there's not much just change.
That means traveling to Saigon is one of the options in March.
Now let's talk a little bit about holidays in March and the first one the biggest one
we got International Women's Day.
That means March 8th is the day to honor women around the world.
I don't know about other countries but in Vietnam International Women's Day is very very popular.
It's so big and it's a chance for women to be demanding just like Vietnamese Women's Day.
However, this is also a chance for the men in Vietnam shows appreciation to their women
and I think this is a really really good time for all families to celebrate together.
The next one is Valentine's Day, March 14th.
That means White Valentine originated in Japan then spread to Asia and then around the world.
So for couples that couldn't celebrate the regular Valentine's Day, they could celebrate White Valentine
which is one month later.
Now let's talk a little bit about holidays in March Lunar Calendar which is Tết Hành Thực.
In Vietnam we have Tết Hành Thực March 3rd in Lunar Calendar which is the Cold Food Festival.
So on this day usually we'll have Bánh Chôi, Bánh Chay, Bánh Chôi, Bánh Chay.
They are rice-loading cakes and this is a very common food in Tết Hành Thực the Cold Food Festival.
Once upon a time our grandparents used to use very simple ingredients to do something different
on special days and before we used to be very poor right we only got some rice, some sugar
and just because of those simple ingredients we could make rice-loading cakes and it's super
super delicious as well you should try it when you come to Vietnam this time.
That means the annual Hành Thực New Year is meant to remember the deceased.
And the last one that is also a very big one which is Ngày Dỗ Tổ Hùng Vương.
Ngày Dỗ Tổ Hùng Vương mùng 10 tháng 3 is the home king's commemoration.
So this day Dỗ Tổ Hùng Vương is one of the very big holidays of Vietnam and we've got one day off
which is like a public holiday and if it happens on weekend then we will have like one or two days
extra depends on the calendar.
So that means Dỗ Tổ Hùng Vương the home king's commemoration is to remember the great
merits of building the country of home kings. That's just for today a lot of things but
it was interesting right so I hope you enjoyed it and I can't wait to see you in the next video
