the fastest, easiest, and most fun way to learn Vietnamese.
So, in this video today we're going to discuss about November,
how's the weather like, where to go in Vietnam,
and some typical things about November.
So, let's get started.
That means the climate or the weather in Vietnam is relatively cool in the north,
the central, or even the south of Vietnam.
Yeah, because this is the end of autumn and it's going to be winter soon.
So, usually this is like the best time in the north,
including Hanoi, where I'm from.
You can see, like,
means falling leaves in Hanoi.
This is very romantic to drive around or to walk around Hanoi.
And in the south of Vietnam, it's like the end of rainy season and it starts getting hot.
Depends on the area that you are, the climate will change accordingly.
Also, in terms of season, we can say
That means November starts winter in the north and dry season in the south.
So, if in the north, we have four clear seasons,
which are spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
On the other hand, in the south, we say to each other that in Saigon,
there are always hot season and very hot season.
But actually, we can say
Mù khô means dry season and mù mưa means rainy season.
That means in some northern areas such as Sapa or Hà Giang,
the climate in November is pretty cold already.
Now, let's talk about some typical food in November.
November is a very typical fruit of the north of Vietnam and in November, they're all ripe.
Usually in summer, they are pretty young and sour, which young people really like.
But in November, which is the end of autumn and the beginning of winter, they're going to be ripe.
So, it's really, really nice to eat them and it's also one of the typical fruits in Vietnam.
So, quýt bắc sơn from Lạng Sơn city is also one of the common fruits of Vietnam in November.
They're very, very sweet.
I don't know why but they're pretty cheap as well, very sweet and it's very healthy.
So, we'll all eat it and usually at the end of winter, it's going to be a bit dry in terms of climate.
So, we always feel like having some fruit to hydrate ourselves.
So, if you're a big fan of jackfruit, then you can come to Tiền Giang in November.
It's also the jackfruit season in Tiền Giang.
Usually, mít nghệ Tiền Giang is very, very sweet and it's very yellow.
In Vietnam, we also use jackfruit to make some food, to make some dishes, which is pretty special.
So, I hope one day you can try them.
So, aside from quýt, we also have cam, which is orange.
Cam cao phong, one of the very popular oranges of Vietnam.
Now, let's talk about some holidays in October.
Các ngày lễ trong tháng 11.
First one, we have to talk about November 20th, which is Ngày Nhà Giáo Việt Nam.
Ngày Nhà Giáo Việt Nam is a holiday in October.
Which is Ngày Nhà Giáo Việt Nam.
Ngày Nhà Giáo Việt Nam.
So, in sentence, you can say
That means Teacher's Day, November 20th is the day to honor people who work in education field.
I'm also working in education field.
I have been working here for like four or five years and I'm really into teaching as well.
So, 20 tháng 11 Ngày Nhà Giáo Việt Nam is the biggest festival for teachers like us.
And it's very very happy to enjoy this day.
We usually have some parties at school, some activities, some presents from the students as well.
The presents are just some flowers, some handicrafts or some cards from our students.
But it's very happy to receive them because it's our students' love.
Another holiday in October which is Ngày Quốc tế Nam giới.
That means International Men's Day, a global event that takes place on 19th November every year.
I don't know if it's big in your country but in Vietnam this is like also a chance for us to show appreciation to our men.
Maybe this is a day that men can be a little bit demanding towards their women.
But that's gonna be very interesting for families that have only one man like mine.
Because we have three daughters in our family and my father is like the most handsome.
That means the singles day November 11th first appeared in China.
And due to the response of young Chinese people nowadays it becomes very popular everywhere in the world.
Especially Vietnam because we have a lot of single people.
Because it's November 11th and it contains four number ones and it looks like a single person.
So this is a very interesting day for single people to enjoy their single life and to celebrate their lives as well.
Ngày lễ độc thân là ngày để tôn vinh những người ế bền vững.
ế bền vững is like a very common term of Vietnam to indicate people who are single for so long and don't really want to be in a relationship anymore.
So that means the single days is a chance to celebrate or to honor sustainably single people.
