In today's video, I'm going to share with you some places to visit in Vietnam in October,

where flowers are booming.

Also, there will be some dishes, some activities to do in October,

and some special holidays in October as well.

Do you remember how many days there are in October?

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.

So 31 days, right?

So it's not hot anymore, right? It's pretty cool and it's good for like lots of activities.

That means the weather in Vietnam in October begins to change from summer to autumn.

So from something to something.

In Vietnamese, we say tử, sang, tử means from, and sang means to something.

Now let's talk about different places that you can visit,

where there will be a lot of flowers everywhere.

So first one, let's talk about Hà Giang.

That means October is the season of buckwheat flowers in Hà Giang.

So remember the structure, okay?

Tháng 10, October, là, is, to be verb.

Mùa hoa, flower season, ở Hà Giang, in something, in somewhere.

Tháng 10 là mùa hoa tam giác mạch ở Hà Giang.

Using the same structure, now we're going to talk about another place.

Ở Mộc Châu.

That means October is the mustard flower season in Mộc Châu.

Okay, you got it? This sentence structure.

Now let's use it to apply to another place.

Tháng 10 là mùa hoa cỏ lau ở Bình Liêu, Quảng Ninh.

That means October is the reed flower season in Bình Liêu, Quảng Ninh.

I have two more places to introduce to you so that you can visit and take photo shoots.

But let's use another structure to describe the same meaning, the same sentence, okay?

Mùa cúc họa mi ở Hà Nội là vào tháng 10.

So instead of saying tháng 10 là, we use là vào tháng 10.

That means in October.

We don't use October as a subject anymore but we use it as a time, okay?

Mùa cúc họa mi ở Hà Nội là vào tháng 10.

That means the season of Christendom in Hà Nội is in October.

Mùa cúc họa mi ở Hà Nội là vào tháng 10.

So here we use mùa cúc họa mi, the season of Christendom in Hà Nội as a subject.

Là vào tháng 10 is in October.

Mùa cúc họa mi ở Hà Nội là vào tháng 10.

One more kind of flower that I'd like to introduce to you is hoa súng.

Hoa súng looks similar to lotus, hoa sen, but in October in Châu Đốc it's very very

beautiful and it's very famous for hoa súng.

So in sentence we can say tháng 10 hoa súng thường nở rộ ở miền Tây như Châu Đốc,

Đồng Tháp 10.

Tháng 10 hoa súng thường nở rộ ở miền Tây như Châu Đốc, Đồng Tháp 10.

That means in October water lilies often bloom in the west of Vietnam such as Châu Đốc

or Đồng Tháp 10.

And the last place that I want to introduce to you that there are a lot of flowers as well

is in Đà Lạt.

From October to December.

Hoa dã quỳ ở Đà Lạt thường nở từ tháng 10 đến tháng 12.

That means white sunflowers in Đà Lạt usually blooms from October to December.

Hoa dã quỳ ở Đà Lạt thường nở từ tháng 10 đến tháng 12.

Okay so hoa dã quỳ here means white sunflowers and it's very very nice.

It's very beautiful everywhere in Đà Lạt in October.

Not only for white sunflowers but also for like a lot of other different kinds of flowers

because Đà Lạt is called the city of flowers.

So in sentence we can say

Đà Lạt là thành phố của những loài hoa.

So we've talked about hoa súng, hoa cải, hoa muồng, hoa dã quỳ, cúc hoạ mi, hoa tam rắc mạch, right?

Now let's talk about some other thing about October which is food.

One thing that is very popular in Hà Nội in October which is

that means coming to Hà Nội in October you must try or you definitely must try

So dưới is like I don't know what it is.

Chả dưới is super popular in Hà Nội because it's very delicious.

There's only dưới in a very short time of the year which is in autumn.

If you visit Hà Nội in October you must try it.

It's really really good.

It's like a kind of afternoon snacks for Hà Nội people.

Also there are two public holidays that I want to introduce to you.

The first one is the October 10th in 1954 which is

That means on October 10th, 1954 Hà Nội capital was officially liberated.

Next one, one more public holiday which is

Vietnamese woman's day October 20th.

So in Vietnamese we can make a sentence like this

That means October 20th is a day to celebrate and honor Vietnamese women.
