| I was born in Hanoi, which is the capital of Vietnam and is in the North. |
| But now I'm living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, which is the South of Vietnam. |
| So sometimes when I talk to my colleagues or my friends here, I use their Southern accent to tease them, but it's just for fun. |
| The differences between the Northern and the Southern Vietnamese is about the tone, the accent. |
| We don't really have the standard national voice or standard national accent. |
| So basically, in some situations, the word choice will be different and the accent will be different. |
| So based on my experience living in Ho Chi Minh City, I will share with you the differences between Hanoi accent and Ho Chi Minh City accent, okay? |
