| Hoang Anh: When you are asked about nationality, you’ll also hear… Bạn là người nước nào? It literally means “You are the person of which country?” When native Vietnamese people meet, they also ask about each other's’ hometowns by saying: Bạn quê ở đâu? meaning “Where is your hometown?” This question is one common way to make conversation and get to know each other better. |
