Hoang Anh: đi đâu đấy? after saying a subject is sometimes used to greet neighbors in Vietnam. So if you see your neighbor, instead of saying "Hi", you can ask where they’re going, but it doesn’t mean that you want a real answer. Therefore, they may will simply reply Vâng, meaning “Yes”, or Tôi ra đây một tí meaning “I'm going there for a while”.

Outro

Eric: And that’s all for this lesson. Don’t forget to check out the lesson notes, and we’ll see you in the next lesson!
